Authenticity Coaching
The bottom line is that we all want to feel comfortable in our skin. All discomfort, mental illness, addiction, loss, craving, are results of us not being in touch with our essential stability. Therapy has addressed this issue well at times but has become bogged down by theories and certifications and techniques. What we all need is someone to help guide us towards understanding what we ultimately are. This is what I do. I provide a space where you can be comfortable exploring your confusion and find new ways of coping and perceiving the world and your experience of it.
What is an Intuition Walk?
"Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.
Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens." - Carl Jung

Intuition walks are about remembering the connection between mind and body. It is about being in the world with our difficulties rather than in an artfully decorated room sitting or lying down with them. It is about allowing the body to be part of the conversation. And it is about taking a nice long walk.
I am steeped in numerous traditions of psychology as well as religious and spiritual practices. My approach is eclectic and rooted in the importance of finding a transcendent place of comfort that can sustain us through our most difficult times.

The Story so Far...
For as long as I can remember I've been teaching and helping people in one way or another. Whether in middle school helping the younger kids in shop class or in High School teaching kids photography. Later, as a stage manager, and eventually as a teacher of High School and College, caring for and supporting others has been a constant. In many ways my work as an Authenticity Coaching is an extension of the same role: offering encouragement, support and an environment fertile for self-discovery.
I'm an experienced therapist and I have been teaching and studying Psychology, Neuroscience and Religion for over 20 years. I provide coaching services and consultations via Telephone. I've found this more effective and less awkward than Zoom. I am currently located in Columbus, Ohio where I welcome you to join me at one of our many beautiful parks or my barn. I am happy to provide references. |
